The Ami Trail is a promenade along the eastern bank of the Jordan River, which leads from Amir to Sde Nehemia and Gesher Yosef. The promenade is named for Ami Peled, a high school student who was killed in a car accident in 1990 when he cycled from Kibbutz Amir to Kfar Blum.
On the concrete floor of the promenade are verses from the Bible that mention the Jordan River, and verses in which the name of God is mentioned are removed at the request of religious circles.
The section of the Jordan that runs along the promenade is also used for kayaking and rafting, as well as an Omega facility over the Jordan, from Kfar Blum to the promenade.
