Ancient archaeological site in summer, Nikopolis
Greece

This archaelogical site uncovers ancient Roman city near Nicopolis in Epirus - some "thermae", basiliques, a theater, etc. Thermaes (from Greek thermos, "hot") were facilities for bathing. It was typical for each Roman city to have at least one. The water is usually heated by fire and then spread to the bathing rooms. The Mazôma laguna lies beyond as seen from the East.
