The circuit "Riccardo Paletti" is located in the municipality of Varano dé Melegari about 30Km south of Parma in what is called the "Motor Valley". The municipality is also famous because is the home of the DALLARA automobilies manufacturer.

Riccardo Paletti was an italian racing driver died accidentally in his second Formula One race.
