Near the Bad Hindelang district "Nordpol" - which translates to "North pole" - you can find this wooden framework bridge across the Ostrach. The district is called "North pole", because in winter the sun does not shine very often and so the temperatures are lower than in the rest of the Ostrach valley.

Bad Hindelang in the Allgäu region is a popular health resort. The small village with it's five districts has still preserved its charm. Many of the houses are built in the traditional Allgäu style.
