Bamburgh Beach
England

Some 50 miles north of Newcastle, located on Northumberland's North Sea coast is Bamburgh. Though best known for its large, dominating castle, it also has a superb beach with huge dunes that rise over 100 feet.

Stabilised by Marram Grass, the dunes offer some protection, but they also provide a stunning location from which to view the surrounding coast, including the Farne Islands.
