Basilica of the Assumption in Krzeszow (Grüssau)

Basilica of the Assumption is the main church of the Cistercian abbey in Krzeszow. Was built in the years 1728-1735. One of the pearls of Baroque and is one of the most beautiful baroque churches of Silesia. The portal and façade of the basilica sculpture autostwa Ferdinand Brokoff from Prague. Inside the Basilica are carved choir stalls and organ by A. Czech Dorazila frescoes painted by J. Neunhertza, as well as numerous paintings, including M. Willmann. In the main altar is a wonderful bazykiki painting "Madonna with Child" from the thirteenth century, the object of worship and numerous pilgrimages.
