The Begecka Jama is an oxbow lake on the inundation flat along the left bank of the Danube River,

at 1276 km of its course. Being an area with the mainly preserved original nature and healthy
environment, the Begecka Jama and its narrow surroundings is protected as the Begecka Jama
Nature Park covering surface of 380 ha.
