Belarus,Azarichy.German Fortifications of the WWI Times
Belarus

During the First World war massive military actions took place on the territory of Pinsk region. After them the front line had been stabilized and since then was established along the Oginsky canal. The bloodiest battles took place on September 19-21, 1915. On that days the Russian army liberated the villages of Mokraya Dubrava, Stashany, Valishche and Ivaniskovka from the Kaiser troops. In July 1916 the Russians tried to attack the German detachments. The attack didn’t result successfully though the artillery fire had been very heavy. The German fortified localities here were not breached.
