Braga, Cathedral, nave, organ
Portugal

The organ is installed in two sides of laterally in the central nature in perfect aesthetic harmony with the high choir.

They were made in the same period of the retirement of the choir choir. The boxes are profusely covered with numerous allegorical and angelic figures and other ornaments on gold carving. In the form of this set, on top of each side, the images of religion and fortress (left side) and faith, hope and charity (right side). In the lateral walls of the lanternim two eagles hold Latin dies that say, "Who saw the same as this?" "Who heard such a thing?" - whose intention was to praise the grandeur of the work!

The fit hired Frei Simon Fontana, of Galician origin, for the construction of these organs dating one of 1737 and another of 1738; His decoration was held by Marceliano de Araújo, one of the best carving of Braga, from this time.
