Part of the scenic 'Ring of Kerry', Bray Head is located at the western end of Valentia Island, and provides panoramic views out towards the Skelligs. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Skellig Islands are located 12 km off the coast of Kerry.

Skellig Michael, also known as Great Skellig, is the site of a well-preserved 6th century Augustinian monastic settlement and was also the location for filming of two episodes of the Star Wars trilogy.
