Canal Entrance Exeter
England

Just downstream of Exeter Quay is the entrance to the canal, and also the new home to a 1920s design of open water buoy that has recently been placed there as the centrepiece of a regeneration project.

The nearby weir prevents any further passage downstream by anything other than white water kayakers but is a perfect place to turn ready for sprints along the quay in rowing boats.
