Casa Colón lobby
Casa Colón, registered in the General Catalog of the Andalusian Historical Heritage, was built between 1881 and 1883 as a hotel. The architect José Pérez Santamaría designed the building mixing British, modernist and colonial architectural elements. After the IV Centenary of the Discovery of America it stopped being a hotel and was renamed with the current name of Casa Colón. On the occasion of the V Centenario it was restored and expanded with a modern congress building and an underground car park.
