Endlagersuche Über die Köpfe der Bürger hinweg Der Endlagerstandort Gorleben wurde in den 1970er Jahren nach politischen und nicht nach fachlichen Kriterien ausgewählt. Der an der damaligen innerdeutschen Grenze gelegene Ort galt als Antwort auf die grenznahe Eilagerung von Atiommüll in Morsleben durch die DDR. Zudem brauchte man eine Lösung des Müllproblems, um den Bau neuer AKWs legitimieren zu können. Bereits bei den ersten Bohrungen 1981 stellen die Wissenschaftler fest, dass eine wasserdichte Tonschicht über dem Salzstock fehlt. Schon dies hätte das Aus für Gorleben bedeuten müssen. Stattdessen wurden die Sicherheitskriterien immer wieder aufgehoben und verändert.... Quelle Plakat campact.de
