Cave church of Olleros de Pisuerga
Northern Spain

The cave-church of Olleros Pisuerga is in the vicinity of Aguilar de Campoo on the road leading to Palencia. Passing through the town one arrives to a large sandstone rock wall inside which was completely excavated. It shows only as external structures one atrium with columns and a steeple.

The church has been restored recently in the North Romanesque Intervention Plan promoted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Junta de Castilla y Leon and has won a special mention of the Jury Awards Europa Nostra in 2010.

Dedicated to Saints Justus and Pastor is currently opened for worship as a parish church.
