Is in the rock of Kalim-uskan which together with a cave since 1985 is declared by a nature sanctuary. Tourism place.
In the rock over the river at the height about six meters there is a cave of Salavat of Yulaev (The Salavat cave). It is remarkable that the natsionalny Bashkir hero Salavat Yulaev in this cave never was. Why she received such name?
The matter is that in the village of Makarovo of the Ishimbayevsky area located nearby and in its vicinities the movie "Salavat Yulaev" was shot. Many inhabitants of the village of Makarovo took part in shooting. The movie of director Jacob Protazanov came out in the early forties and at once became popular among the Soviet inhabitants. One of the brightest scenes of the movie (in particular, capture of Salavat Yulaev) are removed in a cave in Kalim-Uskan's rock. After that movie the small cave turned into popular tourist object and became widely known as a cave of Salavat.http://nashural.ru/Mesta/kuk-karauk.htm
