Chokestone below "Full House Peak"
Nevada

This view shows a vertical couloir below "Full House Peak" in the Ruby Mountains near Lamoille, Nevada.  This was taken from the descent of the peak itself where one follows a ridge with an impressive escarpment.  Looking closely one can see a unique chokestone wedged b/w the narrow cliffs, more impressive in-person.  I didn't venture onto it as I didn't know its stability - it reminded me of the Kjeragbolten boulder in Norway, though less photogenic.
