Snakes Head Fritillaries at North Meadow, Cricklade, Wiltshire. VR

North Meadow is an old hay field. It is now a National Nature Reserve and a Site of Special Scientific Interest. It has the the UK's largest population of rare Snakes Head Fritillaries which flower in the Spring. The meadow has been managed by the residents of Cricklade for hundreds of years. It is now owned by Nature England.
