Panamint Valley Days 2012, Jeep run up to Defense Mine. Back in the 1870's Lookout City and Darwin were alive with mining activity. Now days it's a popular place to go 4 wheeling and the run up to Defense Mine is challenging, fun and well worth it. This event is put on by the California Association of 4WD Clubs.

The California Association of 4WD Clubs was established in 1959 to promote responsible use of public lands and preserve our access to trails.
