Defile near Amoltern, Kaiserstuhl III. The Kaiserstuhl is an old extinct volcano. The soil consists of volcanic minerals and loess. It is very fertile. The Kaiserstuhl is famous for its wines. And many orchards can be found around the Kaiserstuhl. Amoltern is an old wine-growing village.
