Derzhavin Palace in Saint-Petersburg

Museum of Derzhavin and Russian Literature of his Time located at 118, Fontanka River Enbankment is a branch of Pushkin All-Russian Museum. The museum was opened in May 2003 in the main house of G.R. Derzhavin's estate where the poet lived in 1791-1816. The exposition set in 16 halls tells about literary and state work of Derzhavin, his family life, circle of contacts, meetings of the literary society known as "Russian Literature Amateur Club".
