Solitary white sand Caribbean beach in Catalina island in summer at noon. Catalina island is located three kilometers from the mainland of the Dominican republic in the Caribbean sea. The beaches here have white fine sands and nice looking crystal clear water. This sea has corals very close to the shore which attract people for spending their leisure time on the sun beds and snorkelling. There is a place on the beach to get equipment for snorkelling - a mask, fins and a snorkel. The long beach gets deserted just a hundred meters away where the crowd of tourists usually hangs out.
The Dominican Republic is a nation on the island of Hispaniola, part of the Greater Antilles archipelago in the Caribbean region. The western third of the island is occupied by the nation of Haiti, making Hispaniola one of two Caribbean islands, along with Saint Martin, that are shared by two countries. Both by area and population, the Dominican Republic is the second largest Caribbean nation (after Cuba), with 48,442 square kilometres (18,704 sq mi) and an estimated 10 million people.Source:Wikipedia
