Deutschordensschloss Mergentheim 2011
Baden-Wuerttemberg

The „Mergentheimer Deutschordensschloss " was the residence of the high-and German masters of the Teutonic Order. Important guests like the Emperor and influential princes were received. 1626 the inner core of the castle was expanded. It came to the castle grounds, as seen in the panorama. These include the “Hauptportalbau”, the bridge over the moat and the firm-and archives building.
