Dubrovnik is a town in Croatia on the Adriatic Sea. Although there are new and modern parts of Dubrovnik, the old town is the area Dubrovnik is world famous for and it joined the list of World Heritage Sites in 1979. Historically Dubrovnik was based on maritime trade but it became a tourist attraction in the late 19th century, when the first hotel was build.
This panorama was taken in the middle of the main street of Dubrovnik, the Stradun. On one end is the entrance from the bus station on the other is the harbor.
