Elephant rides at the Amber Fort (also known as Amer) is one of the major tourist attractions of Jaipur, Here below the fort the elephant rides start in the cool early morning and are finished before the day gets too hot. Each elephant is only allowed to give 3 rides up to the fort with a rest period in between. The elephants are well cared for and given a bath every day after the rides are done.
