The Foundry Music Lab features an industry standard digital recording studio designed around the Digidesign Protools platform, Yamaha O2R96 V2 Console TC Electronic system 6000 along with Tannoy Elipse idp 10 monitors.

The control room is the centre of communication, allowing live recording from any of the Rehearsal Studios and the Education Lab. All linked via CAT 5 Video Cam and audio multi cores.

The FML Lab is at the heart of Motherwell College Rock & Pop NQ. Students spend 2 days per week in The Lab learning programs and techniques as part of their course, which may lead to an HNC then HND.
