Ферапонтов-Белозерский монастырь

Среди построек – самый древний каменный храм Русского Севера – собор Рождества Богородицы 1490 г. Он составляет главную достопримечательность монастыря, поскольку в нем сохранились уникальные фрески 1502 г., созданные прославленным древнерусским иконописцем Дионисием.

Полная композиционная сохранность росписей составляет непревзойденную ценность этого памятника ЮНЕСКО.

Ferapontov-Belozersky monastery

Among the buildings - the oldest stone church of the Russian North - the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Virgin of 1490. The main sight of a monastery are the unique frescos of 1502 created by the glorified Old Russian icon painter Dionysius.

The monastery complex is a world-class culture monument protected by UNESCO
