Fishing at a solitary coconut beach with golden sand in Uvero Alto in summer at noon. This wild and loosely populated beach is situated between Sirenis Punta Cana Resort and Puerto Sabaneta. Usually locals do picnics in the shaddows of the palm trees and swim in the sea. One can find fishermen throwing hooks or nets after having waded in the shallow water. This beach is charming because of the abundance of fallen coconuts from the palm trees on the fine golden sand and the corals stretching to the shore.

The western third of the island is occupied by the nation of Haiti, making Hispaniola one of two Caribbean islands, along with Saint Martin, that are shared by two countries. Both by area and population, the Dominican Republic is the second largest Caribbean nation (after Cuba), with 48,442 square kilometres (18,704 sq mi) and an estimated 10 million people.Source:Wikipedia
