Futuroscope TGV railway station, Chasseneuil du Poitou (France)

Inside the Futuroscope TGV railway station in Chasseneuil-du-Poitou (Vienne) - Nouvelle Aquitaine - France. This station is situated on the Paris–Bordeaux TGV railway. It gives a direct access to the "Futuroscope" park. It opened on 28 May 2000. The station is shaped like a half-square triangle with sides of about 70 meters. The building, owned by the Vienne departmental council , and designed by the French architect Denis Laming, is a large glass space protected by an aerodynamically shaped roof, suggesting speed or travel.
