The lightouse of Gavdos Island is the Southest of European continent. It was built near the end of 19th century and renovated at the 90s. It is placed at the top of a clef wall of about 100 meters high and its beam of light can be seen from 18 nautical miles far. This is the second far seen beam of a lighthouse of the Mediterranean Sea.
