Lots of visitors, especially wine sommeliers come to St Émilion for its renown wine produce. St Émilion wine we've been told come in 5 various classes: St Émilion, St Émilion Grand Cru, St Émilion Grand Cru Superior, Superior Class A and the topmost, Superior Class B which could cost hundreds - if not thousands of euros - a bottle. The visit itself is not complete without the tower visits from both the Kings Keep and the Église Monolith viewed here from the restaurant square. These were used as watch towers during the 100 year war between France and England. Don't be surprised at the number of English visitors you'd come across when you're here. The clock tower seems to have lost its time, stuck at 5:27, but this was actually taken at lunch time. Thus explaining the human traffic, it's time for the restaurants to get serving!
