Goldbach
Baden-Wuerttemberg

The creek Goldbach, meaning gold creek, is a contributary to the Bernauer Alb and flows through the small locality Goldbach between Bernau-Dorf and Bernau-Hof. Many creeks and rivers in the Black Forest contain small amounts of gold which probably explains the name of this locality and creek.

The municipality Bernau is one of the most beautiful valleys in the nature park of the Southern Black Forest. The 8 kilometre long valley is wide, sunny, and offers plenty of activities for visitors to this climatic health and winter sport resort.
