Grjotagja hot water lava cave in Iceland, near lake Myvatn

Bathing here seems somehow possible (I did it), but don't stay too much in the water if you're not used to really hot water!

The picture was taken at about 8:30 AM, and the light might have been better a bit later (so it hits the water, not the cave walls). Anyhow, this made the steam more visible.

Nobody came until 9:30. Because of the hot water and some falling rocks, I guess tour operators mostly will not take the risk even though the cave entrance is suprisingly easy and close to the road.
