Harbour, Kirkwall, Orkney
Scotland

The cheletered harbour in Kirkwall Bay is surrounded by piers designed by Thomas Telford. The pier from which this panorama was taken now houses the kirkwall lifeboat station. The many large cruise ships which visit orkney have their tenders come in to the harbour making it easier for the passengers to visit Kirkwall and find transport to visit the rest of Orkney.
