HMS Glasgow sits on a semi-submersible barge ahead of her launch in December 2022. The warship is the first of eight Type 26 frigates under construction for the Royal Navy.

The ships are being built in sections by BAE Systems at their shipyards in Govan and Scotstoun, Glasgow.
