Inside Mae De Deus Church, Saligao Goa
India

The Mae the Deus or 'Mother of God" Church in Saligao Goa was built between 1867 and 1873. Promoted by Saligao resident Francsco Salvador Pinto and designed by Major Martins in a Gothic Style. The Church interior in wood and Gold paint is a beautiful example of Goan workmanship. This is the only example of a Gothic style Church in Goa
