The Japanese Friendship Park is the result of collaboration of the Sister Cities of Phoenix and Himeji, Japan. The park is a 'strolling' park designed for strolling and meditation. It is located near a freeway and downtown Phoenix and is an island of peace and tranquility to escape the bustle of the city.
