Knockan Crag trail, NW Highlands Geopark
Scotland

Knockan Crag is a line of rocky cliffs that run along the Sutherland border and Ross shire area of Scotland that form part of the North West Highlands Geopark. It is of particular geological interest as its exposed rocks show the effects of Moine Thrust, where two continents collide, pushing old rocks over the top of much younger ones.
