The shown monolith rock is situated outside the boundaries of the Kodachrome Basin State Park and can be reached on a gravel trail. Not many tourists find that place, in fact we haven´t met anyone else or any further car except a friendly ranger that waived hands to us on the way back. The trail is not far from the Kodachrome Basin State Park and worth while a stop if you have time.
