The Lisbon Oceanarium is the second largest oceanarium in the world and the first in Europe was built for Expo 98, with the theme “The Oceans”. Located in Parque das Nações, Lisbon, Portugal. The Lisbon Oceanarium has more than 16 000 animals and plants of more than 450 species, placed in natural ecosystems. The project was conceived by Peter Chermaveff.
