Matança Dolmen
Portugal
The Matança Dolmen is located in the southern part of the parish of Matança, municipality of Fornos de Algodres, in the Beira Alta province, Portugal. It is also referred to as Killing Corga Orca. Its construction dates back to the late Neolithic (circa 2900-2640 BC) and a legacy of the Celtic peoples who inhabited the region is believed . It features a nine-chamber burial chamber, some of which display what appear to be remains of engravings.
