Mehves Hanim Konagi, Safranbolu, Turkey
Turkey

The Mehves Hanim Konagi is an old villa, from the ottoman times, about 150 to 200 years old. In 1997 it was nearly a ruin and sold to the new owner. After a complete restauration of 3 years it was turned into a very nice small hotel. Located in the historical center of Safranbolu it represents one of the around 2000 old villas which were the reason for Safranbolu to get the status of an UNESCO world heritage.
