Previously a farm, it was rebuilt as a castle with a single tower in 1432 by Vitaliano Borromeo under the authority of Filippo Maria Visconti, ruler of Milan. The building is still today property of the Borromeo Family and its moat still contains water. In the 360 photo the water is frozen and some small ducks are standing on the ice.
