Millennium Walkway, Torr Vale
England

From beneath the Milennium Walkway alongside the River Goyt facing the derelict Torr Vale Mill (cotton spinning) was originally water driven, then powered by steam. It was built in the 1780s and ceased production in 2000, becoming the world's longest-running continuous producer of cotton. The walkway itself was a project to celebrate the new millennium in 2000.
