Monastery Hîrbovăţ in Moldova. Built in early 1700s. The monastery survived three burnings by Ottomans and Tatars as well as a Communist government destruction in 1962. Early records were lost in these events and tombs in the church basement destroyed by the Commies. Tanks were sent after the KGB did this to prevent an uprising as occurred when they did the same at another monastery. There is a winter and a summer church.
