I took the Europe's oldest mountain railways, the Rigi Railways, to go up the Rigi Kulm on a day in November with a sea of fog over Switzerland.
Here I am back at the station Staffel of the Rigi Railways. On the left the railways are coming up from Arth-Goldau and on the right side the railway line goes down to Vitznau. You can easily come up on one side of the Rigi and go down to the other side to Vitznau, where you can take a steam boat to Lucerne. I will take the blue train which will bring me down to Arth-Goldau. The red train will go down to Vitznau.
