Mull Of Galloway Gas Tank
Scotland

Close to the most southerly point in Scotland there is a small beach which is home to, what seems to be some sort of gas tank. This was washed ashore sometime around 96-97. Rumour has it that 3 of these were washed off a ship's deck during a storm. You can see that the tank has had quite a hard time of it over the years, yet the conditions have never been right to for the sea to take it back. I think it must be quite happy here as it's even built itself a nest by smashing away at the rocks!
