In the 1970'ies the Danish govornment made an experimental extraction of uranium from the mountatin "Kuannersuaq" near Narsaq.

At about 350 degrees you can see the sealed entrance.

To the west you can see piles of excess material.

The material has a radiation just above the background radiation and is completely safe for the enveronment
