A look at the Upper Falls of the McCloud River near McCloud, California.  The falls drops nearly 30 feet over basalt cliffs through a small chasm before emerging into this punchbowl.  There is a nearby cave above that had a drop down.  This time of day and perspective of the falls makes it somewhat hard to photograph.
