Biggs Tops is an alternate route through the Wangapeka Track in Kahurangi National Park, New Zealand, an old gold miner's track connecting Golden Bay to the west coast, which takes 4-5 days to hike. This route bypasses Helicopter Flat Hut and connects Trevor Carter Hut, near the confluence of the Taipo and Karamea Rivers, to the Wangapeka Saddle. Be warned that Biggs Tops is a very steep descent. My knees almost gave up on me while going down towards Trevor Carter Hut.
