Nothe Fort
England

A stunning viewpoint on the southern entrance to Weymouth Harbour. It is possible to see the white chalk cliffs to the east (known as White Nothe and part of the Jurassic Cast that extends along most of the Dorset coast), the Isle of Portland and Portland Harbour to the south, tho Old Harbour of Weymouth to the east and Weymouth Bay and the famous sands to the north.

The safe waters of Weymouth Bay have been chosen as the venue for the sailing events of the 2012 Olympic Games.
